Job Description
At RipplEffect, we’re looking for a digital marketing maven that’s a project management rockstar to fill a staff-leave gap temporarily. The temporary Account Director role is responsible for the management and oversight of online marketing and fundraising strategies for 4 nonprofit accounts (utilizing various digital channels) that function to meet objectives for revenue and awareness goals, as well as managing all client relationships and calendar coordination. To be successful in this role, you must be: proactive, communicative, detail-oriented, and able to be task-focused while keeping the big picture in mind.
Objectives of this Role
- Manage your own team of 2, overseeing Digital Marketing Coordinator and Email Coordinator to keep tasks on track and ensure deliverables are met.
- Liaison with clients to communicate strategies, plans, deadlines, and set clear expectations
- Lead the execution of previously planned marketing programs, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to strengthen strategies
- Lead all client calls with fundraising and marketing updates, manage client expectations, and assign all deliverables to responsible teammates
- Project management of internal and external team members and projects, including the management of creative teams to ensure all deadlines are met
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between RipplEffect and clients as the main point of contact for all client needs
- Collaborate with Email Coordinator and Digital Marketing Coordinator, delegating all execution needs to respective team members
- Review and edit copy and graphics for all email and social communication pieces
- Execute on high-level project-based client deliverables
- Track performance and metrics to ensure goals are being met
- Lead all client calls, proactively prepping workflow agendas throughout the week and aggregating notes to send same-day follow-up email
- Successfully project manage progress toward all contractual obligations, utilizing Asana
- Communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

- 7+ Experience in Marketing Role
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Non-profit experience highly preferred
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Able to work full-time in EST hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST);
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience crafting innovative, best-in-class marketing collateral, emails, and community-first content
- A strong eye for quality and accuracy that is able to translate strategy to sharp, fun, and impactful fundraising and marketing campaigns
- Strong project and team management skills, able to multitask and make decisions on multiple accounts at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with copywriting and editing experience
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Asana, Canva, Adobe, Later, Mailchimp, HubSpot, SalesForce,, G Suite, Photoshop)

- Experience with growing online fundraising programs, lead generation, and creating communications strategies
