The Senior Account Manager role is responsible for management and oversight for 3 client marketing calendars (all social media initiatives, email marketing, influencers, campaigns) that function in tandem with strategic plans to meet objectives for sales and marketing goals, as well as managing all client relationships and calendar coordination. To be successful in this role, you are proactive, detail-oriented, love checking off tasks in Asana, always looking ahead, enjoy copywriting, have a knack for content creation, highly detail-oriented and brimming with creative ideas on storytelling.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the internal team: Creative Director, Content Strategist, Sr. Copywriter and Strategist, keeping tasks on track and ensuring deliverables are met
  • Liaison with clients to communicate deadlines and set clear expectations 
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Lead all weekly client calls with external clients, ensuring internal team member are prepared to present on respective sales, fundraising and marketing updates

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing three (3) client accounts
  • Collaborate with Content Strategist & Creative Director on bi-weekly internal calls to brainstorm and build monthly and quarterly Marketing calendars, including fundraising planning, to be reviewed and strengthened by the team on weekly calls
      • Ensure marketing materials are brand aligned & accomplish client KPI’s
      • Brainstorm campaigns and gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
      • Develop “skeleton copy” for upcoming emails and/or assets that require copy to be reviewed by Senior Copywriter or client
  • Manage team by assigning and tracking workflow and client deliverables in the Asana platform to ensure deadlines are met, ensure the calendar is managed well in advance of the deliverable date
      • Oversee and approve content on social
      • Copywrite and structure email campaigns to be designed 
  • Meet with clients bi-monthly to align on workflow, updates from internal planning and optimize calendars accordingly
  • Analyze performance across email marketing, social media, stripe, event sign-ups and google analytics weekly; compile reporting onto “Client reporting docs” to review both internally and externally, presenting findings & optimization recommendations

  • Proven experience crafting innovative, best-in-class social media marketing + proven track record developing community-first content
  • Agile, has a strong eye for quality and accuracy and is able to translate strategy to sharp, fun and impactful social / marketing experiences, marketing plans and campaign
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Asana, Canva, Adobe, Later, Mailchimp, Excel, G Suite, Photoshop)
  • Loves using/implementing new systems, copywriting and content calendar planning
